Red Headed Trogon

Red Headed Trogon: northeastern India, frequent in Bhutan, and locally dispersed in Bangladesh. It prefers upland forests and lives in dense broadleaved forests and in tropical and subtropical zones in the Himalayan foothill.
The trogons are a very distinctive bird that comes from the save family as the quetzals. They are known for their beautiful and brilliant plumage, which usually has very contrasting colors.< br>< br>
