The intellect

The beauty, the love, the admiring gaze,

Is it not just fleeting?

I sit not just superficial

So what then are the depth and the true depth of things?

We say animals are lesser being,  what are they to do but be superficial, if they have no intellect

As we say they attract their mate through the dance they do, the preening they do .

Well are we humans any different, how do we attract out mate?

Are we not taught to ask if the other is going to be a long time prospective lamb to be slaughtered when the time is right, he / she has enough money to see us through our lifetime ?
