Day -1 , continues

Road Ready 

Finally at 1109 hours the bike tank was fixed and Chandan another rider is ready to travel with us, we are 4 of us ready to head out on our Nepal trip, I topped up with fuel and reached the start point, this time around there were a few less folks who were there to see us off as we Started off, for Nepal.

AT Line Hotel 

 Riding the first 185 km we stopped at Mehta Line hotel for lunch somewhere past Ranchi, it was 1430 hours and we had roti and tadka and coffee yes we ate but till half full, just to keep oneself sharp and not get sleepy we planned to get as much distance as we could on this first day

At Bokaro RE showroom

Another few hours saw us at Bokaro and the Royal Enfiled showroom on the highway was a stop we took, a cup of coffee and chain lubed up on complimentary basis, before we were on our way towards Aurangabad,

Refuelling Stop

We did stop for a refuel-ing as darkness approached, we had already completed 320 km by evening and I guessed we would soon be parking for the night, a hotel on the highway would be ideal and if we could find a hotel with boundary wall it would be ideal. Security for the bikes you see is of prime importance.

Foyer of Hotel

Hotel Gargi and Dhaba was a good find, a little expensive but worth the facility and we stopped by 1900 hours in good time to get some sleep and a good warm shower, this might be the last shower we took till next 2 – 3 days.

First day done, we were ready to call it a day by 2000 hours after all we were up since 0500 hours and waiting to get underway for the first 4 – 5 hours of uncertainty had taken its toll,
